DAY 1
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you’ll be transferred to the picturesque Dal Lake, surrounded by the breathtaking Himalayan peaks. Embark on a shikara ride while taking in the mesmerizing views of vibrant floating gardens, houseboats, and the distant snow-capped mountains. Afterward, check into your traditional houseboat, where you can relax while experiencing the Kashmiri hospitality with an overnight stay on the lake.
DAY 2
Check out of your houseboat and get driven to your hotel in Srinagar. Post check-in, get driven for a city tour, starting with the famous Mughal gardens. Stroll through Nishat Bagh, where terraced lawns overlook Dal Lake with stunning views of the Zabarwan mountains. Next, visit other sites like Chashme Shahi, a royal spring garden & the ancient Shankaracharya Temple, offering panoramic views of the city. Later, explore the bustling markets of Lal Chowk before being driven back to the hotel.
DAY 3
In the morning, get transferred for a day trip to Sonmarg. From Thajiwas Pony Stand, you can take a horse ride to the Thajiwas Glacier viewpoint, surrounded by lush meadows, streams, and the majestic Himalayas. If time permits, you can visit the stunning Krishnasar Lake with its crystal-clear waters reflecting the mountains, or opt for an exciting rafting experience on the Sindh River (at an additional cost). From the pony stand, you’ll be driven back to the hotel.
DAY 4
Today, check out and get transferred to your hotel in Pahalgam. After checking in, head to the Pahalgam union cab stand, where you can hire a cab (fare not included) to explore the area’s scenic spots. Discover the breathtaking beauty of Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, known for their stunning landscapes and serene surroundings. After your visit, return to the cab stand on your own and then get transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 5
Spend the day at leisure, either relaxing at your hotel or exploring the charming town of Pahalgam at your own pace. You can visit attractions like Poshwan Park, offering peaceful green spaces, or the scenic Baisaran Valley, often called “Mini Switzerland” for its lush meadows. You can also take a trip to the Tulian Lake or enjoy a fun-filled day at Lidder Amusement Park. For adventure enthusiasts, rafting on the Lidder River is also an option. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6
After checking out, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Gulmarg. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You can explore nearby attractions like the Gulmarg Children’s Park, perfect for a relaxing stroll, the historic Maharani Temple, or the peaceful Shrine of Baba Reshi. Additionally, you can take a day trip to the Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve to discover its rich flora and fauna. Later, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 7
In the morning, get ready to board your transfer to Gulmarg Union Cab Stand, from where you can take a cab to explore Gulmarg. Visit attractions like Strawberry Valley and Drung Waterfall. Then, treat yourself to a delicious lunch at Igloo Cafe (at your own cost). Also, enjoy a ride on the famous Gulmarg Gondola (at your own cost). Later, head back to the Union Cab Stand by yourself, from where you will get transferred back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 8
Today, check out & get transferred to the Srinagar airport as you say goodbye to the beautiful town of Gulmarg. This is where your trip ends.
