DAY 1
Welcome to Ladakh! Upon your arrival, get driven to the hotel. After you check in, relax for some time. Later, you can explore the city at your own pace. You can wander through Leh Market to shop for local crafts, woolens, and souvenirs. Alternatively, you can step into Leh Palace and learn about its royal history and enjoy views of the town. If you wish, you can also head to Shanti Stupa for a peaceful vibe and stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset.
DAY 2
Today, enjoy a trip to Sham Valley. Start with the scenic view at Sangam Point, where the green Indus meets the blue Zanskar River in a stunning natural display. Next, visit Magnetic Hill & watch your vehicle defy gravity on this curious stretch of road. Stop at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib & enjoy its serene atmosphere. Visit the SECMOL campus, the real-life “3 Idiots” school known for its unique learning. End your journey at the Hall of Fame, where stories of brave soldiers leave a lasting impression.
DAY 3
Post check-out, journey to the cold deserts of Nubra Valley, driving through Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest all-season motorable road. Pause at the famous Khardung La Café & savour a hot bowl of Maggi amidst snow-clad peaks. As you descend, witness the dramatic shift in landscapes as green valleys give way to stark desert views. Continue the journey & reach the Hunder dunes, where you can enjoy a double-humped camel ride or an ATV Ride. As night falls, settle into your camps.
DAY 4
Check out and begin your journey towards Pangong Lake. Your journey will offer spectacular views of the famous Ladakhi peaks. As you continue your journey towards Pangong, you will come across several streams & make a stop at one of the charming Ladakhi villages along the banks of the Shyok River. Once you arrive at Pangong Lake, settle into your camp & head out for a stroll along the Pangong Lake. Enjoy the ever-changing hues of this saltwater lake with the majestic Himalayas in the backdrop.
DAY 5
Once you’ve checked out from your camp at Pangong Tso, head back to Leh, crossing the stunning Chang La Pass. Stop by the Druk Padma Karpo School, known for being the filming location of numerous scenes from the acclaimed movie ‘3 Idiots’. Afterwards, make a stop to learn about the cultural heritage of Buddhism in Ladakh at Thiksey Monastery. Upon reaching Leh, check into your hotel.
DAY 6
Check out & embark on a scenic journey from Leh to Kargil, beginning with a visit to Lamayuru Monastery, famed for its moon-like landscape and centuries-old Buddhist heritage. Explore the Basgo Palace, known for its striking architecture and ancient murals. Continue along the Srinagar-Leh highway to Mulbek, where a towering rock-carved Maitreya Buddha stands as a guardian of the mountains. Continue the journey to Kargil. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
DAY 7
In the morning, check out and get transferred from the hotel to Srinagar. Enjoy breathtaking views of towering mountains and lush valleys as you make your way towards the capital city. Along the way, experience the serenity of the clear lakes and visit the significant Kargil War Memorial. Upon arrival in Srinagar, you will check in at your pre-booked hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Afterwards, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 8
On departure day, after checking out from your hotel, you’ll get transferred to Srinagar Airport. Enjoy one last look of the picturesque surroundings before boarding your flight back home. This marks the end of your trip.
